Playlist.com

Playlist.com allows you to organize lists of songs that link to free, legal versions (sometimes lower fidelity) of music. The service has quite a selection and acts as a free music index. Next time I’m thinking about purchasing a song or album, I can search for it on playlist.com and listen to the full songs instead of just clips. There is also a social/community networking aspect whereby one can share playlists with friends, or post via Facebook and other social networking sites.

I’m a fan of the Daily Show but I don’t have Comedy Central with my U-verse TV package. So, instead of upgrading, there are plenty of opportunities to legally stream recent and past TV shows. Also, there are other shows that I’ve liked, but I wanted a way to browse the shows that are available for streaming. Here is a good directory to find your show and watch it via Hulu.com, Netflix, iTunes, or the parent cable web site.
